flakes of wrath

This whole winter has been a roller-coaster ride of extreme temperature and precipitation fluctuation. Monday was beautiful. Tuesday-Thursday were cold. Friday it snowed a little during the day. Saturday morning, I woke up to see nearly a foot of snow on the ground, with more falling. It took me over an hour to drive to work - it usually takes me about 25 minutes. My new toy

Thursday the 24th was my birthday, and my wife got me the coolest tech toy ever! It's a bluetooth virtual keyboard. As you can see in the picture, it's just a little black box that projects a keyboard onto any flat surface with a laser. You can pair it up with any bluetooth device, then type on a full-sized QWERTY keyboard instead of using a numpad w/T9! I'm typing this post using the device right now, and sending it from my phone. Ah, technology!

Megan & I just picked up our new Shih Tsu puppies today! The darker brown one is named Luca, and the reddish and cream colored one is Rowan. They're about 7 weeks old.

I was already planning on voting for Ron Paul before, but just a short time into this debate, I'm even more sure of it. He's the only one actually speaking with any common sense, while the others are all just spewing out the same old rhetoric, and ganging up on Paul for having the nerve to run as a Republican without signing his soul over to the party line...
